Namie Amuro Farewell Tour — Finally

—Winter // February 2018
Japanese superstar Namie Amuro kicked off her record-breaking final tour Saturday (Feb. 17) in Nagoya, Japan.

The total attendance for the five-city domestic leg of the tour reached approximately 750,000 from 17 shows, which set the all-time attendance record for a J-pop solo artist. More than 5 million people registered to buy tickets to the dome concerts in Nagoya, Fukuoka, Sapporo, Osaka and Tokyo.

The tour will go abroad for six international engagements, and a total of 800,000 fans will flock to see the iconic R&B songstress perform live for the last time.

Amuro played a set comprised of 24 fan-selected songs chosen from over 2.8 million votes, along with the six new tracks included in her greatest-hits album Finally, which has sold over 2 million copies since it was released in November.
